Jiffy brings together verified creators, thinkers, and storytellers. Our community thrives because members treat each other with intentionality, curiosity, and high respect. These guidelines outline our standards and are strictly enforced across all interactions.
1. The Core Pillars of Jiffy
- Authenticity Over Performance: Jiffy is not an infinite-scroll feed or a vanity contest. Present your real identity, candid stories, and genuine personality.
- Intentional Introductions: You receive three curated introductions a week. Value each other's time and attention.
- Consent is Non-Negotiable: Consent governs all conversations, meetups, and media sharing. "No" or silence means no.
2. What We Strictly Prohibit
Violation of any of the following rules will result in immediate, permanent removal from Jiffy:
- Harassment & Bullying: Sending unsolicited explicit messages, insults, threats, persistent unwanted contact, or derogatory remarks regarding race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion.
- Explicit & Pornographic Content: Uploading nudity, sexually explicit photographs, or unsolicited sexual content in stories or chats.
- Impersonation & Catfishing: Claiming someone else's identity, follower count, or photographs. Everyone must be verified as their true self.
- Doxing & Privacy Infringement: Screenshotting, sharing, or publishing another creator's private stories, chat history, or personal details without explicit written consent.
- Commercial Solicitation & Scams: Using Jiffy to sell products, services, paid adult content, cryptocurrency schemes, or solicit money.
3. Safety Guidelines for Meeting in Real Life
When transitioning from in-app conversations to an in-person meeting, always prioritize your safety:
- Meet in Public: For first dates or meetups, choose populated, public venues (cafes, galleries, restaurants) during reasonable hours.
- Arrange Your Own Transport: Always control your own transit to and from the venue. Do not rely on your date to pick you up from your residence.
- Inform a Friend: Tell a friend or family member who you are meeting, where you are going, and when you plan to return.
- Guard Personal Information: Do not share your residential address, financial details, or workplace specifics until strong mutual trust is established.
- Never Send Money: Jiffy members will never ask you for wire transfers, gift cards, or emergency cash. Treat any request for money as an immediate red flag.
4. How to Report and Block a Member
In accordance with Apple and Google safety requirements, Jiffy equips every member with direct in-app moderation tools:
- Report & Unmatch: In any chat or profile view, tap the three-dots menu or the "Report & Unmatch" button. Select the reason for your report (Harassment, Inappropriate Media, Impersonation, Scam).
- Immediate Blocking: Once reported, the member is instantly blocked from viewing your profile, stories, or messaging you again.
- Human Review: Our moderation team reviews flagged accounts within 24 hours. If a violation is confirmed, the offending account is permanently banned, and their device identifier is blocked from re-registering.
5. Enforcement & Appeals
If your account has been suspended and you believe it was done in error, you may submit a formal appeal with context and documentation to support@jiffydating.com with the subject "ACCOUNT SUSPENSION APPEAL".
