Terms of Service & EULA

1. Eligibility & Age Requirement (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Jiffy and use the Service. By registering or attempting to register, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the full right, power, and legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
• You have not been convicted of, or pled guilty/nolo contendere to, any felony or sexual offense, and are not registered on any sex offender registry.
• You have not previously been removed or suspended from Jiffy for violations of our policies.

2. Creator Criteria & Selective Membership

Jiffy operates as an exclusive, private community for verified creators, thinkers, and storytellers. Admission is selective and subject to editorial review to maintain cohort balance, community authenticity, and a trusted environment:

• Creator Credibility & Reach: Applicants may qualify based on verified social credibility, creative portfolio, or satisfying our 1,000+ public follower benchmark on Instagram.
• Member Invitation: Applicants who receive and apply a valid referral or invite code issued by an active verified member may be granted direct admission.
• Cohort Diversity & Editorial Balancing: To ensure vibrant, balanced community cohorts and high-quality mutual introductions in each launch city, applications are evaluated dynamically. Applicants not immediately admitted are placed on a waitlist pending future cohort openings.
• Jiffy reserves the right to accept, waitlist, or decline any application at its sole discretion to protect community integrity and safety.

3. Code of Conduct & Zero Tolerance Policy

You agree that you will NOT:

• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, violent, hateful, harassing, racially or ethnically offensive, or promotes self-harm.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or upload images or stories that do not belong to you.
• Solicit money, loans, or financial investments from any other member, or use the platform for commercial advertising, escort services, or spam.
• Stalk, intimidate, dox, or record and redistribute private conversations, stories, or photos shared within Jiffy without explicit written consent.
• Use bots, automated crawlers, or scraping scripts to extract member profiles or data.

Members can report and block any abusive user directly within the chat or profile screen via the "Report & Unmatch" button. Our moderation team reviews reports within 24 hours and takes decisive enforcement action.

4. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights in the photographs, text, biographical descriptions, and stories that you publish on Jiffy ("User Content").

• License to Jiffy: By submitting User Content, you grant Jiffy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, display, adapt, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and delivering the Service to you and other members.
• Representations: You warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, and rights to the User Content you publish, and that such content does not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

6. Account Termination & Deletion

You may terminate this Agreement and delete your Jiffy account at any time. Instructions for in-app deletion and our web deletion portal are available at Account Deletion Portal.

Jiffy reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or ban your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice or refund, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or engaged in fraudulent or harmful conduct.

7. Apple App Store Additional Terms (iOS Users)

If you downloaded Jiffy from the Apple App Store, the following terms apply:

• Parties: You acknowledge that this Agreement is between you and Jiffy only, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Jiffy, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Service and its content.
• Scope of License: The license granted to you for Jiffy is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products running iOS that you own or control.
• Maintenance & Support: Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to Jiffy.
• Warranty: In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
• Third-Party Claims: Jiffy, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims of you or any third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, and intellectual property infringement claims.
• Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JIFFY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY OTHER MEMBER OR THIRD PARTY; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
